Whether you use it to navigate the streets or to transform into a digital tourist, Google Maps has become one of the most essential tools on the web. We will go over Google sight seeing, smarty pins, earth picker, maps engine and ways to apply maps to classroom activities. Paper maps are becoming obsolete, but the need to know how to read a map is not. Whether it is measuring distances, exploring places around the world or even taking a trip to outer space; we can do all of these with Google maps.
