Speaking Silently: Using Online Conversations to Amplify Student Ideas and Engagement

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Students are often receivers of information: they’re lectured at, presented to, viewers of; while these are often important ways of transferring information, the students aren’t doing much. This session shares computer-based tools and strategies for shifting students from passive receivers to active constructors of information without changing all your curriculum.
